In 1986 this service began activities with the mission of promoting technological innovation in the Colombian sugar sector in order to increase the adoption of sustainable practices in the productive units based on the approach of site-specific agriculture.
Its vision is to become the most widely recognized service of technology transfer in the Colombian agrosugar industry, promote innovation and the sustainable development of the cane crop and its related industries.
