Superintendency
It began activities with the mission to support-logistically and operationally-the fieldwork required for the successful execution of experiments and the meteorological, climatological and geographic information necessary for research and analyses.
It operates and administers the Automated Weather Network's (AWN), the Network for Monitoring Particulate Matter PM10, and the Geographic Information System of the sugar industry.
It also executes and supports the development of research projects.
Its vision is to be recognized in Colombia and in the other cane-producing countries as the best Sugarcane Research Center in the field of Geosciences.
