Visit of students to Cenicaña’s meteorological station

Visits to the Cenicaña Experiment Station are attended from Monday-Friday in the morning (8:00 am-12:00 m) or in the afternoon (1:00 pm- 4:30 pm). Requests should be made a minimum of 30 days prior to the date proposed for the visit and should include the following data:

  1. Name of the requesting entity
  2. Academic background, position, occupation of the visitors
  3. Number of visitors
  4. Specific topics of interest, date and proposed schedule for the visit
  5. Data for contact and sending the reply (mailing address, telephone, fax, email address)

National visitors

The universities and other entities interested in visiting Cenicaña can channel their requests through the Technical Cooperation and Technology Transfer Service, establishing direct communication with:

Foreign visitors

In order to attend people coming from abroad, approval by the Director General of Cenicaña is required; and where the Director so indicates, written approval by the Association of Sugarcane Growers of Colombia (ASOCAÑA). Letters should be directed to:
