CENICAÑA - Services that Cenicaña provides

Cenicaña provides specialized services to member sugar mills and contributing growers with the purpose of strengthening the sector’s competitiveness. It provides opportune, low-cost and quality services to both internal and external clients in order to optimize resources and processes. To private individuals it provides library services and visits to its facilities.

Material for sugarcane nurseries's multiplication and spread of varieties

The rates (Col.$) for production of material for propagating nurseries from individual buds are:

Cost per seedling:
In Cenicaña: Col$160 (for donor Cenicaña). Col$281 (non-donors).
With seeding: Col$208 (manual); Col$196 (mechanical). The transport of the equipment is borne by the applicant.

The value of one ml of antiserum RSD or LSD is Col$ 88,400 (pesos). Export is US$ 156 (U.S. dollars).
