Impact of cultivation work on the construction of TCH and sucrose
Cenicaña led a GTT (Technology Transfer Group) for professionals, advisors and suppliers of sugarcane from the Pichichí Sugar Mill, with the aim of deepening the Impact of cultivation work on productivity (TCH) and quality (sucrose).
The workshop, held at Hacienda El Carmen (Guacarí), reinforced the need for precise agronomic management, aligned with soil and variety conditions, as the key to optimizing crop yield. Furthermore, the importance of opportunity and quality in the execution of each task.
The participants learned about the experience of the farm and witnessed a field demonstration of a new mixed team of fertilization and weed control, in addition to receiving instruction in the methodology for evaluating the quality of preparation and control of reseeding and water management.
