Job title: Head of Technical Cooperation and Technology Transfer Service

Purpose of the charge

Promote the adoption of technologies that increase productivity and profitability in the sugarcane agroindustrial sector, through the transfer of technologies generated by the Center, technical cooperation and the implementation of marketing strategies according to the characteristics and needs of cane producers, donors to the Center.

Education

  • Professional degree in Agronomic Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Communication or Marketing or related careers from a national or foreign university of recognized academic level.
  • Master in Business Administration, Communication, Marketing, Human Management, Knowledge Management.
  • Proficiency in the English language is essential, speaking, reading and writing.

Costumer

Indispensable, 4 years in:

  • Responsible positions in topics related to human management, marketing, administration, education, communication, digital transformation and public relations.

Specific competences of the position:

Specific

  • Characterize the use of technology, its impact, track adoption and identify validation and support needs.
  • Strengthen and identify dynamic strategies for transferring products, solutions and user training needs, with the AEPS approach.
  • Promote the adoption of best practices in AEPS through the exchange and provision of knowledge and technical information relevant to this purpose.
  • Establish an adoption/extension network that allows the dissemination and exchange of experiences of the Technology Transfer Groups – GTT, the Technical Assistance Programs – PAT and other strategies with allies from the sector and the region.
  • Measure the impact of the transferred technology using relevant variables and indicators.
  • Measure customer satisfaction with the technology transferred and with the processes carried out applying reliable instruments.
  • Evaluate the apprehension of knowledge and processes using reliable instruments.
  • Define operational plans and programs that ensure the delivery and adoption of research products and Cenicaña's portfolio.
  • Design communication strategies in accordance with the object of transfer and the target population.
  • Define requirements for the design and development of computer solutions necessary in the technology transfer process.
  • Document client investigation and transfer requirements in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain excellent public relations

  • Schedule the necessary activities and budget the resource needs to achieve the purposes of the projects and activities.
  • Manage national and international resources and alliances necessary for the execution of projects and activities.

  • Evaluate the results of the processes by using the established indicators.
  • Propose initiatives that benefit the processes and the institution.
  • Implement improvements in the technologies used that contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of projects and activities.
