Biodiverse reed

Caña Biodiversa is a research project led by Cenicaña with sugar mills and growers to study the interaction of biodiversity with sugar cane cultivation and thus determine the ecosystem services that natural vegetation provides to the Colombian agroindustry.

Within the framework of this initiative, restoration processes are promoted and implemented to recover and form biological corridors along the Cauca River Valley, where sugar cane cultivation is concentrated in Colombia.
