Objective
The Technology Transfer Groups (GTT) are a cooperative and participatory work strategy with the productive sector, established to increase the speed of diffusion of innovations and good practices used by sugarcane growers in the Colombian sugar industry.
Who belongs to the groups?
The GTTs are made up of sugarcane farmers with common interests, who associate to exchange technological and administrative information on the productive units, generate changes, strengthen communication channels, self-train, manage resources for development projects, improve profitability and strengthen social ties, among other purposes. The GTTs are made up of sugarcane growers whose production units are located in similar agroecological zones, representative of each mill.
