On the cover: Soil samples were packed into wells, then imaged at 91 known configurations using a custom designed and 3D-printed sample well array to discern the influence of surface orientation on VNIR hyperspectral signatures. This method advances the ability to map soil chemistry at high resolution on intact soil samples using laboratory-based imaging.
